I was at the bank sometime last year, to withdraw money, Sp as custom demands, you are suppose to queue up so as to create an organized atmosphere. Then all of a sudden, the guy in front of me started a conversation that I regretted engaging myself in. ..." why me' my spirit exclaimed. This guy's mouth was oozing... arghhh... it was something else friends. The problem was now how would explain to him the anguish he is causing me. You know I couldn't just tell it to his face that his mouth was smelling... It was a terrible experience. I had to excuse myself to the rest room. Has anyone experienced such before? And how did you handle the situation?

I would have backed up and not engaged in the situation, it was a good choice for you to excuse yourself

I will offer him something to freshen up his mouth like candy mint or anything that will help the smell or otherwise pretend as if someone is calling you on your phone and then excuse yourself and walk away.

You mean bad breath. I honestly don't even know how I'd tell that to a total stranger. I'd probably not bother anymore because its just a chance encounter or if I have mints I'd offer him some. But if its someone I knew, like a friend it would be much easier to let the person know.

@LovelyxOdd I may take some mint myself and ask him would you like some or BETTER yet I'll just gracefully exit or excuse myself from him

Oh that's quite an issue. If I will confront a situation like that and it will relay disturb me I will make sure to take this person a side and only when we are alone to tell him/see about that. Sometimes this problem might arise from health conditions.

He’s a stranger so most likely you won’t encounter him anymore? But if you had gum or mint I’d offer it

Yes, it is a real problem at times and delicate to handle. I find some excuse to limit the conversation. If it is a person that I know well, I point out diplomatically that there is a real issue - siva .
