In other words - planning a little escape. Good Morning and I hope that everyone is well on this sun-filled morning in my part of the world. The tides are turning and soon Autumn will be upon the Southern Hemisphere countries and Sunshine and flowers will embrace the Northern parts. The circle of life and the changing seasons are just the spinning wheel of us all getting a little older minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day. My hubby returns from his annual fishing trip tomorrow and then we jetset off to Cape Town for a week just to relax with no AGENDA at all. I am looking forward to the week of nothingness as I have been very busy of late. Do you ever reward yourself with some "ME TIME" after a hectic period? “As the sun shines I will make hay To keep failure at bay For there remaineth a pay For my honest toil each day.” ~ Ogwo David Emenike My hair is now a silver grey, and all my older photos from 6 months ago, feel like they belong in a far away past. I shall not look over my shoulder - but rather focus on what the future holds. Happy Day everyone

Enjoy your escape from the hectic routine. I get spurts of 'me time' in the midst of helping care for my grand and great grandchildren.

Nobody can stop time they say so let's not just count our age. I'll be turning 40 very soon this month and friends kept reminding me about my age. I'm the oldest among us. That doesn't make me feel sad though. I"m ok with turning 40, we can't do anything about that but age is just a number and they said I don't look near 40.
