We get to watch news on Violence like murder, accidents, sabotage, kidnapping, rape etc when ever we are putting on our TV!
Watching TV for 30 minutes make our hormones dis balanced because of these types of news.
I then prefer to watch some interesting and informative shows on History TV or Epic TV!
Do you watch your TV regularly? How much time you spend on an average infront of it? And what are the normal timings when you prefer to watch your TV?

@AKRao24 Actually our TV was not working for almost a month and it repaired only two days back. Its screen was not showing and it worked like ‘radio’ (lol). If it is working then also I don’t have time to sit infront of it. Honestly I really don’t have interest too.
Now about the TV programs, my hubby wishes to grab all the news channels and that is also after 10 pm (till that time children’s study time). Mostly that time all the Malayalam channels have news time. I have to say, it is not fun to watch the tv news at all. Always disgusting news are coming continuously and if you listen those truly the hormones will get imbalanced.

I don't. I don't watch the news on tv and I don't watch the teleseryes. In fact I have no idea who the young actors and actresses are in this country anymore. The only time you can see me in front of the tv is when I'm waiting for taking over my brother's work during weekends and I'm on cable tv while mylotting.

@AKRao24 I don't really see it as wasting of time. I just hate what's going on in the news plus I don't like watching our tv series because I think the writers aren't doing their jobs well. So I better not or I'll stress out.
I prefer to watch what I like only.

I think most of us so the same, mostly because of the internet and smart phones we almost are keeping ourselves updated with the global news and because of this impotance of TV has got decreased. On top of it the exaggeration on TV news channels makes me sick! Thanks dear @marlina for responding! God bless! Thanks!

the local News and national news shown in India are too exaggerated and make your blood boil within no time ...they are being blown out of proportion for the competition they have among the channels....so I am really not interested in them! Yes special shows like cricket match or shows on History channels or National Geography ...I may like to switch on! Thanks dear friend @DianneN ! Take care God bless!

I don't watch a lot of TV, mostly at night when my husband is watching the shows he records. I usually find something else to do or sit with him and watch a little, I can't stand watching all the hate in the world when the news comes on anymore so try to stay away from it.

That is pretty good dear @Kavinitu....I can understand after working for a day it is not possible to spare more than that much of time for TV on week days! Traveling drains out one in cities leaves one weak and tired! Weekends ....since no office you can have some entertainment in the form of old movies which I too like them! Thanks! Stay blessed!

You are like me I also give company to my wife! I join her when ever she puts it on and simply watch whatever she likes! Otherwise if given a chance I would prefer some channels like History TV, national Geography etc which are informative in nature! Thanks a lot dear @dodo19 for your response! Stay blessed!

I guess that I watch TV 3 hours a day in average. Actually TV has become part of our lives and there are good and bad programmes to watch. When there is nothing interesting to watch I turn it off and look for a book to read. I like to see sports events such as tennis or football. I also enjoy seeing police series or good movies.
