It's February 14 here now and my news feeds on Facebook are flooded with greetings, photos of their loved ones and flowers. And while me, nothing from the boyfriend today. Lol Maybe he'll surprise me later? Anyway, aside from it's Valentine's day, it is also Ash Wednesday. So I feel like holy today. Probably I will ask the boyfriend to go to church later. So, what are your plans for Valentines?

Valentine's does mean anything to us as it wasn't part of the time when we were growing up. It's been introduced since so doesn't really have much of a meaning for us.

Well, being single, yet, but hoping.... I thought to treat myself with a Jr. Big Mac, french fries and a vanilla malt and maybe a dessert pie from Walmart across the street. Walmart has those little pies for just .68! This is after I draw blood for my blood test for my doctors visit next week. When you get my age they test you for everything! I've tried to eat very good veggie meals for the past few days and cutting my desserts to none or very low sugar ones. I couldn't pass up a 1.49 red velvet pudding slice though. Happy Valentine's one and all!
