Happy Birthday and Happy Valentine's Day

Well, it may not be your birthday today, but it is my grandson's birthday! He is eight years old today and our most favorite Valentine's Day gift EVER!
Today my husband and I will spend the late afternoon and evening celebrating as we have done every single year since we first met. Now to open our gifts to each other!
Love is in the air, especially today!

Awwww - a happy big 8 birthday to your grandson! And a happy Valentine's day to you guys 
! What a super fun day for all of the family - lots to celebrate! It was nice to receive some little things from various parents from school - even from my son's teacher - I was not expecting that. After I left, I got to shop 
. Right now we have little gifts to each other sitting at the dining table . . . when Hubby comes home, we'll have dinner and dessert (raspberry heart cookies) and open up our cards and gifts. Then we'll probably continue watching the Olympics

@much2say Lol! Thanks! We are sickening to some, but try to keep it low key in public. Ha ha!
I'm sure you kept it sane since it was a school night. Are you looking for something in particular? That's what I find the most difficult part of shopping.

Our granddaughter Amie stopped by on her way to Miami and spent the night with us so we enjoyed dinner and then breakfast with her and her dog Addie, now we will run some errands and then just relax at home, We do nothing special on Valentines Day. Happy Birthday to your grandson.

We had a lovely Valentine's Day. We went and saw Pat Boone at the Perfomring Arts Center in our community. I didn't know he was still alive! LOL

@DianneN - When I told my 89 year father we were going to see Pat Boone, even he said, "I didn't know he was alive ... he's older than I am!" My Dad was wrong, though. Pat Boone is "only" 83.
