Not a Good Day

It hit sometime yesterday afternoon. I started feeling like a sore throat was coming on. Then my chest started feeling like someone hit it. My legs are not steady and very sore, as well as my arms. My neck hurts, and it feels like there could be swollen glands.
Yes, I'm sick again, and this time it's worse than before. I didn't see the truck that hit me. At least it feels like one did.
I have no time for being sick. Isn't that always the way it goes?
I've been up since 1:30 this morning because I couldn't sleep. Also experiencing hot flashes, something I haven't had in many years. That time of my life is over and done with. However, I was throwing off covers.
I just finished the notifications, and since I have no plans to do anything today, including the pool, I'm going back to bed.
I also worked on my book, getting a couple more chapters taken care of. Not much to do, as I've been over this manuscript many times, trying to get it worked out. Who knows, maybe I'll actually finish it this time. That would be good. Romance isn't my genre, so it's not an easy book for me to write. I do have the love/hate thing down good though. Now to actually get this one finished.
Oh the title - Love's Illusion
On the plus side, my Internet seems to be behaving this morning. I've got my pictures showing up again, which is good.

@marlina Yep. Good as new today. I'm glad my body throws off this flu that's hit everyone really hard, fast. I don't think I could handle being sick for two weeks straight. Though having this thing hit me now three times this winter is crazy. I just hope it doesn't happen again this year. I don't usually get sick, so this has been a strange year for me.

@DianneN The more I sleep, the more my back hurts from being in bed, so I can't stay there. The good news is, this flu is history once again. I just hope it's the last time this year for it. I'm good to go this morning. I think it was another 36 hour flu. I didn't go to the pool yet this morning. I'll be back there on Monday.

I'm doing my best. I got a couple more hours of sleep, but beyond that, I couldn't stay in bed. So I caught up with my romance I'm writing, and have made headway. I might finish this one finally. I've only been working on it about five years, is my guess. I did watch some of the Olympics I have on DVR, so catching up with that as well. My sore throat and neck are feeling better, now for the rest of me to do so. I hate this feeling.

I am so sorry you have the flu. It is very hard to sleep when you feel that way. I never sleep at night. I get up in the wee hours of the morning because I cannot sleep. You can only organize your spices so many times. I hope you feel better. Glad you got to work on your book.

@just4him That is really something to feel as if you were never sick. You must have had a lot of people praying for you. I think this inability to sleep when I need to must in the genes. My Grandmother and Mother had it, too.

@MsBooklover I don't know about anyone praying for me, but I attribute the fact it didn't last long to the healthy diet I'm on. The flu doesn't have anything to latch onto, so it doesn't last. Of course, I do thank and praise God it's history.
