is it manners to snap the fingers and call others?
Recently, it happened before me! One person was calling the other one by snapping the fingers to get that person's attention ! I just got irritated by seeing this act!
Friends, what you think about it?
do you respond to a person who snap their fingers to get your attention?

Nobody has ever done that to me to call my attention nor have I seen anybody doing that to call someone's attention here. But whistling? It's pretty common and I find that very rude.

Yes it is very rude and they would certainly get my attention if they did it to me which would not be a nice sight I can tell you and they most certainly would not do it again!

I think this is very rude. I know people used to do it in a restaurant to get the waiters attention if they wanted the bill ...but I think it is very rude.... anywhere and to anyone !
