Some people can't stay away from sweets .my dad like sweets very much .he will have them after finishing supper.Eating too much sugar is not good enough for health.Sugar content does nothing, just does harm.I don't eat sweets much.Whenever we feel it eat sweets try this foods :
Raisins: This is very good for health, just take eat them directly or by soaking them in water and eating them morning. This helps to increase haemoglobin percentage. It helps to stay away from Anemia :)
Dates: These are rich in iron content whenever we like to eat sweets..try this one
Sweet potatoes: rich in fibre content, pottasium
We can boil and have them directly .
So friends are you eating sweets in healthy way ?.Try to eat fruits instead of eating sweets :)

I am not a big fan of sweets right from my childhood ! Now I have got a good reason of Diabetes under the pretext of which I avoid sweets. I never had liking for Indian sweets, Chocolates, Cold drinks , Ice creams etc. Yes when my sugar levels go down I develop a crave for sweet foods and then I have got some candies ready ...which solves my purpose! Thanks dear @Icydoll!

I love dates, I only eat one a day, they are full of calories. White potatoes have more potassium than sweet potatoes 941 mg of potassium for a medium white potato compared to 542 mg for a sweet potato. As I do not like sweet potatoes, but I like normal white potatoes this is good to know.

I'm not much of a sweet eater, even though studies have proven sugar to be very harmful. I love raining and sweet potatoes. My husband loves dates. There are many other fresh fruits and vegetables that are ultra healthy and delicious, too.

I am afraid I hate dates. Fresh or dried. Indian sweets are far too sweet for me. The only one I really like is Ras malai. but maybe only eat it once a year!

@Icydoll I am not keen on curry to be honest, I don't mind a Madras as I like the taste but other curries I find not to my liking. I do not like Coriander and they tend to use quite a bit of it here, It is a fad in the UK and the USA as is truffle oil or truffles which I really detest.

I'm not a fan of sweets but my husband is and he's diabetic already. We do ate raisins as snack sometimes and sweet potato. My husband always buys that when we go to grocery. We ate dates rarely.
