Today is a bad day.

Hello, dear friends, first of all, introduce yourself. My name is Susan. It is the mother of a 1-year-old child: this is my first time to be a mother! I have no experience, my child is sick today! It was terrible that I didn't know that my child had never been ill before. Today the child is crying and I don't know why. I told the children's grandmother that the grandmother reached out to touch her forehead and felt very hot. I should have caught a cold. I was very upset and had no common sense. Now I just came back from the hospital. The baby is sleeping very well. The children should get better soon. If you have some common sense of being a mother, I hope you can teach me and we can communicate with each other. Finally I want my children to grow up healthy.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. Kids get sick, they get better, it happens. There is nothing you could have done to prevent it. Just love your child and try to make them feel better, keep them comfortable and as happy as possible.

Unfortunately, there is no manual that anyone gives you when you have a baby that tells you everything you have to do to raise a healthy child. A lot of it is instinct, trial and error. It helps to have others around us (family, friends, doctors) who have experience with child-rearing that can give you advice. Don't feel guilty, but there are going to be many times where you don't do something right. That's okay, we all make mistakes. That's called life! Just be the best mother you can be, and show your baby lots of love! Oh, and be prepared, babies get sick quite often, it's how they build up their immune system!
