Motorbikes

Philippines

There are quite a number of motorbikes in Southeast Asia as compared to the other regions. I used to think that the Philippines has the highest number but when I arrived here in Vietnam, I was surprised to find out that they have more motorbikes as compared to four-wheeled vehicles. Based on my research, the country of Vietnam has the highest sales of motorbikes in 2016. In fact, motorbikes are considered as the king of the road. I know how to use a motorbike because I used to own one, and I know the dangers of improper driving. If cars have safety belts, motorbikes have helmets, too. This is to protect the head of the driver and the passenger from injuries when accidents happen. However, it's just sad that some drivers are just plain ignorant when it comes to traffic rules, others are too stubborn to follow them which mostly lead to road rage and worse, accidents.

I had one in my younger days. it was my main transport to get me to work and around. However, those were my wild days I would not ride one now as I think they are dangerous

Some think nothing will happen to them. How wrong is that. They invented seat belts and helmets for a reason. So use them to save your life.

Good that you know how to use a motorbike. Neither I know how to drive a bike nor a car
