I have the habit of being very clumsy, and besides spilling my coffee, the worst so far was having my badge caught in my skirt and when I stood up, I flashed my underwear to a visitor... I work at a reception... :D :D :D I felt so embarassed!!! Luckily for me, the person vas very nice, he mentioned to his host while they were walking past me that this is the best reception he had ever seen and that the service was exceptionaly great... It took me some time to recover but now I laug when I think about it... Does anyone else have a funny story to share?

@MaciMaci fortunately never had serious injury. I used to work sometimes ago in the mayor office and i was bringing some documents to his office to get everything his sign and it was by protocol not to be on the stairs when he was waiting for visitors. The guard told me to walk quickly so i will not get in the middle of something. And in my way of running i felt and went directly to the mayor foot. I was very embarrassed but he was very nice and gave me a hand to get up. Later it was a funny thing to tell my friends

First, welcome to Mylot.
I would have been red in my face for sure.
This morning I did not pay attention when I push the buttons for reheating my coffee in the microwave. It spilled over. I was not embarrassed because I am at home, but sure did not like the extra cleaning.

Sometimes the stories are not funny as they are happening but only funny later in life.
I was in a hurry to get to a convention with hundreds of people. As I stepped outside I stepped on a cat's excrement. The smell was awful. I only had one pair of good shoes and I cleaned them up but they still smelled and so I took some of my wife's perfume and sprayed it on. The cat smell subdued but all day people wondered why I smelled of perfume. I still laugh about that!

@MaciMaci I told a few people that I knew so that I could explain the perfume smell. On hindsight I should have used my after-shave lotion. Well, if it happens again which I hope it doesn't.

I once had to let a lady friend know that her dress was wide open at the back - I think I felt more embarrassed about it than she did when I let her know but she fixed it quickly and she was very grateful to me

@arthurchappell You obviously belong to the generation of humans that hold values... If something similar happens today, most young people would take out their phones and take Snapchat videos for their stories, instead of thinking about the other person's feelings...

This really made me laugh. It made me think of the time I walked across a dance floor with my dress tucked in my knickers after visiting the toilet. Everyone thought it was hilarious, apart from me of course . As you say you can laugh about it afterwards.
