Freelance proofreading can be the one of easiest opportunities!

After researching and working for various other freelance options (writing, designing, digital marketing), I've realized that proofreading can the perfect gateway for someone to enter the freelancing world. The learning curve is short - you just have to learn to spot typos and other mistakes. The work rarely requires revision. You don't need to be specialized in a particular form or industry.

I'm not very good at grammar so I don't think I would do very well with a proofreading job unfortunately.

I think I can be good at proofreading. I was a proof and control clerk for 6 months when I was still working in a bank. It's so easy.

That sounds like a good opportunity although you would have to be great at grammar. What website do you use for these opportunities?

@mydanods I work at upwork. But if someone wants to make the maximum amount possible, making your own website and getting clients through cold emailing and job boards is the best option.

Editing is different. In editing, you change the sentence structure, improve paragraphs, and do all sorts of work to make writing better and polished. A proofreader does not deal with all these, he just corrects the spelling and grammar mistakes. First, a work is edited and then given to a proofreader. It is much easier and faster than editing.
