I like Michael's Stores where you can get items to do a lot of different crafts no matter whether your a beginner, somewhere in the middle for skill or advanced. I find it relaxing and some crafts aren't expensive to do now. I wish there had been a craft store near my house when I was a child, as there is a Kids Club for 3 and up to make crafts and the first class is free with the coupon in my ad. The classes offered Paper Flowers, Clay Pots, Easter Egg Canvas, Spring Wreath, Easter Chick & Bunny, Bunny Tail Planter, Yarn Chicks, Egg Decorating, Easter Treat Bags with a bonus project Bunny Ears and Easter Slime. Several of the classes start at 10 to Noon and others are in the afternoon. Check your local stores and hope to see some of the crafts posted on Mylot. Do you enjoy crafts? I wish that it was for adults, as I would be first in line to make paper flowers.

I enjoy doing crafts.... I find it therapeutic. Just wish I had time to do some. Maybe when I retire down the road.

I'm looking forward to retirement, as that would mean more crafting projects would get finished. Presently, I work part time and many days need more time in a day to get things done on the need to complete soon list.

It's good for kids to have something to do other than play computer games. I'm sure they enjoy these lessons.

Kids are so lucky these days, parents are taught how to raise kids. My folks were on their own and had to figure things out without any help.

@rebelann I'm not sure how much tuition they get on raising kids but it seems many could do with more.

I love Michaels! I live about 45 minutes away from my store. I only get to go shopping there once in a while when I have saved up my cash and they are having a great sale and I have coupons. I have never taken a class there. I hope you enjoy yours.

@rebelann I have 2 Hobby Lobbies within our area. Well, I have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to both of them but they outnumber the Michaels.

Sounds like you're pretty far off from a lot of places @Shellyann36 I usually have to travel at least 20 minutes or more to get to any of the grocery or other retail stores I like to shop in, I don't mean walmart either, I'll shop walmart online though.

I can't recall the last time I've seen a Michaels. There is a Hobby Lobby pretty close by.

Those sound like fun projects for kids. :) I think Michael's offers adult classes for a cost.

I will have to look up the store for locations, as have never been to AC Moore. I'll be traveling for certain in May and November, as have rooms booked already.
