What do you like on your toast?

I love peanut butter and honey on my toast in the morning although my granddaughter thinks that is gross and prefers jam.
There are all sorts of spreads we can use, Nutella, Sandwich spread, Marmalade or just plain butter.
What's your favourite?

@LadyDuck My granddaughter hates peanuts. They make her gag although she's not allergic to them.

@LadyDuck That must be worrying. I suppose you have to check the ingredients on everything to make sure a product doesn't contain nuts.

@sprite1950 I cannot have them, I feel shortness of breath, stomach cramps and nausea.

@eliza_godinez12 I love the crunchy but recently I had a tooth out so had to buy the smooth so as not to get bits in the hole where my tooth had been

@Ithink People do put strange combinations on bread and toast but sometimes it is surprisingly nice.

I like butter and Marmite, when I have it on hand. Otherwise I usually just have butter, Occasionally I'll have blackberry jam.
That reminds me, I need to buy another jar of Marmite, as I've been out for a while. We don't have it as widely available here as you do over there.

@sprite1950 It is really good. It is basically just apple, sugar, and cinnamon cooked in a crockpot all day.

@snowy22315 Lime marmalade is more like jam and it doesn't have rind in it. I've never tasted apple or pumpkin butter but it sounds nice.

@Courage7 I've never been a big fan of marmalade except for the Lime marmalade. I don't like the type with the rind.
