I love pineapples and their juice. I mix grapefruit and pineapple for a very thirt quenching drink over crushed ice.
Pineapple has magnesium in it which helps in developing strong bones, and it may also be of help in preventing osteoposrosis.
This luscious fruit also has fiber and contains the enzyme bromelain which ensures neutralization of acids and aids in digestion. It also has high amounts of thiamin which is involved in energy production. Also has some iron, calcium and potassium. Of course Vitamin C goes without saying.
It can fight against indigestion, stomach infections, constipation, arthritis and sinusitis.

When I lived in Honolulu I had to pass the Dole plant to get to my favorite record store in town. It always smelled like a pineapple upside-down cake. Oddly enough, pineapple was very expensive in Hawaii, compared to the cost on the mainland. Go figure.
I love pineapple!

I had a coworker bring ripe pineapple to work once after his vacation to Hawaii. I was in love with the fruit ever since.
