Good Wednesday morning to us all. How are you? Today is my check - up and I woke up at 6:30 because the dogs kept on exercising their barking voices to any passersby. When I am in the hospital I put my phone on mute mode but it vibrates when it receives calls and messages. But the topic is not about my phone. It is my son's. Last Monday, I and my son went to the city proper after I and my sister went to the city hall for the payment of our taxes. We rode on a tricycle. My son loves to read so he would sit down and read in his phone while I attend to what I was doing. When we arrived home, he searched for his phone. I told him he didn't give it to me. He was sure he brought it home but he can't find it. I told him to miss call it using my other phone. He did and he said that it was ringing then,"the subscriber cannot be reached ". I got worried. Maybe the phone was snatched then the sim card was removed. I and my sister joined him in searching for his phone. Then he checked on GPS in his laptop. It showed his phone is in the street where our house is but it was nowhere. He kept on ringing his phone until he found it. Where? It was under a pillow in my room. That was why he cannot hear the ringing was because it was on mute mode yet vibrating. Is your phone on vibrating mode?

@DianneN Same with my phone. I set it to vibrate because it is always in my bag.

@ridingbet My phone vibrates vigorously, especially if it's on a hard surface. It seems to buzz like a fly when it's in my purse. Lol!

hahaha. yes. and i was quite relieved when he showed his phone. i told him to to answer the call from my phone because it will reduce my phone's load. so, does your phone move 'vigorously' when it vibrates and rings?

Occasionally, I put it on vibrating mode.. Most of the time, it's on mute mode... No ringtones, no vibration.. It's okay because I only get texts from my service provider. LOL No calls too.. hihihi

but your phone is always within your view, right? if it is on mute mode, then you can check who is contacting you and not reply if you don't like the texter/caller. texts by your service provider. i get it. that is the "you have been rewarded 6 points for your P100 load which will expire on March 31, 2018". it is that kind, right? hehehe.

@ridingbet you guessed it right Ate hihihi My phones are on my bed most of the time and my computer table where I work is just beside my bed so I always notice if I have a message through their LED notification light.

Sometimes, when I forget my phone, it can be a heck of a thirty minutes search.

Funny story. I'm glad it was found. I don't keep my phone on mute or vibration. It doesn't ring enough to do so.

yes it is nicer if our phones are not on mute or vibrating modes because we can hear them ring. unless we attend meetings or in the church, or workplaces, should be minimize the volumes of the phones' ringtones

The only time mine is on vibrate mode is when I'm teaching, lol simply cause my ring tone features Blink 182 Dammit. Otherwise it's cranked!

@librarygeek1980 the vibration may do us good so we won't miss a text or a call. but it can also make us shake and jump if it is in our front pocket of our pants. this is usually where i put my phone.
