Every gift we receive from parents is very special and memorable to us.But in some people unexpected situations we may lost the gift, thats the sad part it makes us sad with the miss feeling.I still have the toys presented by my parents, and a chain which presented by my father I still wear it daily and never remove it .even though I don't wear much jewellery I prefer it wear that chain and I love it. Friends do you have any gifts presented by your parents as a memory?.do you lost any gifts presented by them..share with me..

I still keep some of the gifts given by my parents when I was young, and some I have already passed them to my kids as toys. Those are not expensive stuff, but some souvenirs when they went traveling. It's nice to see those toys or gifts passing down to my kids.

yeah i had given my mom just yesterday, a wallet as a presents from me. nothing i just felt giving something to her... but every year like christmas eve.. i used to give my parents gifts... about what my parents give to me, i received lots of presents from my father but it's not the typical type of presents that it is wrap but for me it is still a presents like cellphones, laptops, external hard disk.. and all of that is still in me because he always gets used to ask me how are those things now... so i'll make sure i take care of those he has given me...

As we have shifted our house frequently, I hardly have their presented old gifts. However when I was in my college, my mom gifted me a pen. I still use it to write.

@AKRao24 I agree with you I feel the same as you said, they are the gift given by God to us and it's good to have good memories with our parents, the little things they give to us is very precious ,as they give those things with so much love..So whenever we see gifts we get back to old memories..and we feel bad when we lost those..

I usually keep gifts, as well. In storage I have all the things I had as a child. Only occasionally if it's something I really won't use or takes up a lot of space will I re-gift or send it on....
