I strained my upper back yesterday at work. It wasn’t too bad yesterday or last night but this morning I cant move or get out of bed. Even laying down hurts. So I had to call off work. It appears that I will be staying in bed for the rest of the day. I have a doctor appointment in the afternoon.
I hope the pain will go away by tomorrow as I have lots of unfinished work in the garden. And I wouldnt want to stay in bed all day tomorrow as well.
Did you ever strain a muscle that left you immobile?

I am sorry to hear that. I hope you recover soon. Once in a while, I have back pains where I cannot get out of bed at all. Luckily it hasn't happened recently and I hope it doesn't.

Like you I had pain and I went to the doctor. My pain was in my lower back and arms. I had bursitis. Doctor ordered me to get a cane and exercise. If my back pain gets worst surgery is the result. I researched for herbs to help and found them. I saw the commercial for the laser treatment...they don't take Medicaid and it costs $10K. I really hoped for relief, for I got to clean my home, get around to shop and everything else. The double whammy of my back pain and arm pain was really getting to me. Luckily I found herbs and vitamins to help. I look at my cane, and smile I beat it and don't need you any longer.

@oahuwriter swimming helped me a lot with the lower back pain I had and even more with the knee injury. I will be pain free once again when this upper back strain is completely gone

Yeah long time ago when I was starting cycling and we climbed up this hill and my leg muscles were all worn out. But that hasn't really left me immobile. Just some limited movements.
Sorry you have to stay in bed and in pain. Hope it goes away fast.

Oh, that's a shame. I hurt my back at the bottom of our yard once and the only way I could move was to slide along on my bottom. I was in bed for a week and my back has never been the same since. I take great care of it now but it is a bit late. I hope yours improving rapidly.

I experienced straining a muscle but that does not made me immobile. I hope you will feel better soon.
