FYI corned beef and cabbage isn't really Irish. An Irish friend told me..they don't eat it there. I am going to make mulligatawney stew. Not sure whether it is really Irish, it is more like a curry of sorts of anyway, it looks good and easy to make..so there you go! What about you? Any plans to eat Irish on the day? Last night when I went to trivia everyone was dressed in green lol..they were jumping the gun.

Irish coffee sounds good..You could put some Baileys Irish cream in it..or maybe decorate it with a bit of green food coloring or something. You could use Jameson's whiskey.

@LadyDuck Oh, I just thought you could decorate the whipped cream with it, to make it greener, or use green sprinkles.

@snowy22315 NO! If I make an Irish coffee I make a real thing, no food coloring nor Baileys. I use Tullamore Dew Irish whisky.

@snowy22315 For sure and it wasn't intentional but the musician was born in Ireland although he lives here now.

I'm Irish, but I don't eat Irish food - not even the corned beef and cabbage that I grew up being told was Irish. All i do is wear green.

I don't think so, I don't know much about irish food and we also don't celebrate St Patrick's day.
