Believe Me, It's True

Seriously, the following happened:
Yesterday, my hairdresser gave me a 10% discount for referring 7 people to her new salon. She also offers her customers a beverage such as red or white wine, beer, juice, soda, or water and bowls and dishes filled with wrapped chocolates and bakery items.
Today I did six loads of laundry. That has to be a record for me.
I stripped 3 beds. That's not a record, since I have five bedrooms at home with a total of 6 beds.
I ironed. I know I'm nuts to iron sheets and pillowcases, but today I also ironed some summer wear.
My day isn't over. I'm going to doggie sit my brother's dog here. They are sneaking out without her for a test. Usually, someone is with her all the time or she cries. I will call if she is very, very bad for me.

I'm a real little homemaker, believe it or not! . Butnot all the time.
Oh, Preiti is so spoiled, just like Lulu. We just took her for a walk and she pulled on her leash to go back to my brother's condo. I just gave her a big treat, so she's happy.

@DianneN Yeah just 10%. The truth is, I always get a good discount from my hairstylist. My whole family goes there and I have invited some of my friends too.

@toniganzon That's great! This one is my Florida hairdresser with New York City prices. My other hairdresser at home has never given me a discount and keeps raising his prices. If he wasn't such a good colorist, I'd leave in a heartbeat.

@DianneN now you have me wondering what percentage of people do this ? You should do a discussion on this

My hairdresser offers me tea, coffee, or soda. I don't drink soda or coffee, so it's tea for me. Only once was I there when they had a cake going around to everyone. That was before my diet. I'm certain you love the snacks at your hairdresser, and kudos on the discount.
Six loads of laundry would take me an entire day. It would be a record for me too. I only have one bed to worry about.
I haven't ironed in years. My mother always ironed sheets and pillowcases.
I hope the doggie was good.

@DianneN I know. I had an incident that just made me laugh. My late X belonged to the Masons, and the Knight's Templar, which is part of that. Every year they have a convention, and we went one year, and had a good time. Most of the Templar's were well imbibed. I met a lady in a store about a month after we got back from convention and she told me I must have been really drunk to have such a good time. I told her the hardest thing I drank was 7-Up. You should have seen her jaw drop at that. Imagine being able to have a good time without being drunk.
