Can you imagine living in this rustic hut? In my mind I can see myself and the hubby sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee just taking in the view. I would love taking a walk among the trees spying on all the animals. Communing with mother nature would be a daily happening. Along the pathway I would throw handfuls of wildflower seeds so there would be a patch of beautiful color to enjoy. If I could find an area to do so I would plant a vegetable garden. Fresh vegetables for dinner every day, how lovely. What a wonderful peaceful life it would be.

I would love that ! It'd be wonderful to live a simpler life - a place where we're not bombarded so much with technology and people - just nature and us !

I'm ready to move in right now. That is my kind of living. I used to own a cabin on 5 acres. It had no water, electric or heat. I enjoyed being there so much. I put my old wood burning cook stove down there, got out my oil burning lamps and was just fine.

@velvet53 been there, done that. There is a piece of property that we sold without thinking. We do regret that decision.

That little cabin sounds like a little piece of heaven. It's too bad you don't have it still.

That is a beautiful setting. I can certainly entertain those thoughts. Can I ask where you found that picture? It would be the perfect book cover for a novel I have finished. I've been hunting for the perfect cover for it.

That sounds lovely. I used to dream of a home on the shoreline but somehow it changed to a cabin on a mountain with a lake within sight.

@HazySue Yes a great place to heal. I remember one of my students before whose wife got cancer. He told me they're going to live in the mountains to help her wife heal.

@HazySue I had tried to live in Tajikistan before and experienced to live in simple life. Now, I am in my country. The peaceful place that I am looking forward is to live in the countryside. Moreover, I preferred to live near the beach.

This would be a Great place to be able to retreat too from time to time, and get away for the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sitting there in front of a nice Fire cuddling next to my husband watching a movie and just enjoying the Peace and Quiet
