Costco is selling Doomsday Kits.

What do you think should be in a Doomsday Kit, and how much do you think they should cost? If it is really the end of the world, why do we need a kit to survive? I mean if it is the end. What is the point? Or am I missing something?
Costco’s $6,000 meal kits feed a family of four for a year. Are they worth it if you’re prepping for doomsday on a budget?

@MsBooklover In the unlikely event
anything ever happens my neighbours
across the street seem like the type to
buy one! If they croak it on doonsday
I'll check their house first

At the very least, the seller is making a lot of money off the desperate and gullible.

Anthony, I agree. Way to much money for what they are giving you.

Even if I thought I should worry, that is a lot of money.

I think it's nothing more than a disaster preparedness kit and the term " doomsday" is for me a little bit exaggerated.
I'm a prepper cause I love preparing for worst scenarios in advance but I would not buy one of those, I prefer to assemble my own tailored fit to what the situation is in my area, I have one in place and it's nowhere that expensive.
No one needs a years supply lol! If you could hold out for a week or 2 I think it's good enough for help to arrive.

Yes, I think a supply that lasts a year is a bit much.

I look at it this way @MsBooklover , if the poop is gonna hit the fan, I don't want to be in hiding for any length of time only to come out and find nothing is there anyway. You can't hide from radiation that lasts a long time; just look at what happened to Nagasaki and Hiroshima. I'm just gonna bend over and kiss my butt goodbye.

I'm surprised Amazon have not yet noticed this and started selling them too. If greedy Amazon think they've missed out on some profit, it'll seem like the end of the world ! ??

Doomsday can be any major disaster. Right now we have "children" playing with nuclear weapons so it is always wise to be prepared. However, I don't need Costco's kit.

At that price the only doomsday Costco should be preparing for is their own. :-)
