Yet another extinct species

And this is all happening before our eyes. At this pace we will very likely end up being alone in this planet. Every once in a while we hear about new species disappearing forever. All because of human greed. No money can bring those species back now. Yesterday, the world’s last northern white rhino has died. It sure won’t be the last. More and more species become endangered as result of human greed.
The world's last male northern white rhino has died leaving only two females left to save the subspecies from extinction.

There are still two females and they have kept the male's 'genetic material' so who knows? Perhaps all is not yet lost.

Since the other females are his offspring I don’t know if the baby will be healthy. I really hope it’s not lost

They have the sperm and eggs of a few different rhinos... so they are planning to try and repopulate once the funding is all figured out. Its sad that its got to this point. :( :(

I have read the news yesterday, the poor rhino has been euthanized due to poor health conditions. Only two female are left, they hope to make them reproduce through artificial insemination.

I read all about that, and believe it may be possible to create offspring from the two females.

I hope they can create a healthy one considering that the females are his own offspring

Thanks to some rich old men who thinks Rhino horns is like a viagra. Rhino horns have no nutrition and it is the same component to human nails.
