Taking precautions

I came in direct contact with a sick person today. He is my father in-law. He said that he is having flue-like symptoms and he was coughing badly. Such contact in families is inevitable. I have been sick a lot this year, just recovered from muscle strain too, so I really don't want to get sick again.
I got home and immediately made some chamomile with honey. I will drink an orange juice later and then put some extra layers to keep myself warm while sleeping tonight. I hope I won't be sick tomorrow.
Do you take precautions when you get in contact with a sick person?

If anything, I try to stay away from sick people, but sometimes you just can't, especially if it's family. I do try to keep my distance, wash my hands a lot, and go outside to get fresh air. I try to keep up my health - eat lots of vegetables and citrus fruits - and drink water with a zip of organic apple cider vinegar in it. Oh, and I try to get lots of rest too!

I take precaution every single day and not only when I'm around sick people. I make sure I get enough vitamin c every single day to boost my immunity.
