Good morning/afternoon or evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
Today is bright and sunny which is a welcome change from all the snow we got two days ago. Schools were closed but now 80% of it has melted and isn't causing much of an inconvenience.
Can't say there's much new here. My sciatica is bothering me so it's hard for me to sit, stand or even lay down. I don't know what caused it to flair up but I'm miserable. I never really think I do much in a day but now that I can't do anything I realize how much I do.
I wasn't here at all yesterday and hopefully today I can pop on and off to see what's going on.
Other than that, everything else is good here. How about you?

Have you tried yoga poses that are supposed to help with sciatica? A friend posted awhile back about them on Facebook. We are supposed to be getting a package in the mail but it’s delayed due to the snowstorms. No snow here recently but it’s okay better the postal workers are safe then me worrying about what’s in the package.

I'll have to see if I can find some yoga on YouTube. Thanks for the suggestion

I was a bit stressed earlier, but things seem OK now. My sis has some sciatica trouble, but she got some exercises from a physical therapist and they seem to have helped her a lot. She hasn't complained about it lately.

I haven't had a sciatica problem in ages so it's weird that it flaired up now.

I've tried heating pad and alternate with ice. It helps somewhat but not entirely. Hopefully it will clear up quickly.

@Marilynda1225 My husband had it for 3 months about 10 years ago. It was extremely painful. Prayers for speedy recovery for you.

We woke yesterday to a dumping of snow. The kind neighbour used his snowblower to clear most of it and my sister and I spent some time in the afternoon clearing off our vehicles and then moving enough snow that I will be able to get into the garage before we leave on Monday morning.

Hopefully this is the last big snow of the winter. Maybe we'll be talking about spring soon

Yes, I use a heating pad and alternate with ice. Has helped a bit but this time it's really bad. Wish I knew what made it flair up.

My tenant has a problem with sciatica and she wears that magnet leg thing and she swears it works.

Never heard of a magnet for sciatica but I'm almost willing to try anything.

I had a good weekend. We watched my y/o soccer game. He is on a winning team this year, his team lost every game last year so it is a nice change and makes him a bit happier. It is cold here, I even had to make a spring fire in the fire place to knock the chill off.
