Meet Sparky, one of the two cats I am critter-sitting at the moment. Sparky is in love with my shoes. Well, actually she loves any shoes, but these one seem to be particularly attractive to her. They are a pair of old sandals that I refer to as my "monk sandals" because they look like the kind that monks wear. They are ugly as all get out, but very, very comfortable, and as a result I wear them most of the time in summer when I'm not getting dressed up. They must have good smells, because Sparky has a look of absolute ecstasy on her face as she rolls all over them.
Do you know any animals that have particular fetishes like this?

Sparky is absolutely a gorgeous cat @lynnief . Yeah, I have several that will bury their entire face and head inside of my shoes.

@lynnief Isn't it wild how they can have different personalities. You can imagine with my 12; I'm never bored.

That is a cute photo. Our dog Bhagira loved to cuddle up to one of our kitchen mats.

She certainly seems very happy rolling in your shoe. What a beautiful cat.

Lynn, that is understandable that she is a bit afraid of people. She may always be. I have had my Sophie since she was 3 months old and she is 3 and will be 4 in August. Too many people bother her and she goes and finds her own quiet spot. I wish I could join her.
