I believe men are better because they give more emotions into the food they cook.

@Berrygal yes because they pour their hearts into whatever food they cook. You will know. I experienced it thats why I am saying this. That is their way of expressing themselves... thru food.

In my opinion, nothing beats a home cooked meal prepared by mom. :-)

Men and women both can cook. Till 80's people think that its ladies job. Its a good change that men also started cooking.

All I know even from the past, male chefs dominate the kitchen. It's rare to find a female chef.

I guess there does seem to be more male chefs around but either male or female chefs can be great cooks.

Professional kitchens have always
been male dominated. The balance is
actually finally shifting there are more
women chefs in high class restaurants than
ever before.
There's no difference
in who can cook better more a case of how
many women stick at the job! Girls are more
likely to leave the trade due to the hours
especially if they have kids.
I'm female and a trained chef I have
worked in many top hotels and restaurants.
I gave up as I earn more money for less hours
in my current job.
