For me, there are only 2 kinds of doctors: the very good ones and the completely awful.
I don´t trust a doctor if I don´t have the feeling that he/she is good so I don´t spend money in meds or exams that he says I must have done.
On the contrary, I am willing to do my part if I think that the doctor is a good one. It usually pays off and I get well.
I went today to a skin doctor. She was a lovely lady and she did a through examination, something that many doctors don´t care to do anymore.
So I bought the meds immediately and I will follow all her orders, including a change of soap. I hope all goes well.
Do you have some doctors you can trust and others you just don´t?

I do. But since my sister is a doctor too, she knows a lot of good ones and I trust her judgment.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with your skin doctor today.
I found a doctor I trust and he's willing to go a more natural routine for treating things than quickly prescribing medications.

I was happy to know that my skin problem is just a nasty rash.

I dont trust a doctor who asks a few questions then makes a diagnosis without even doing the proper tests. :-)

Yes. I had a great when I first moved here but she moved out of town. Now I have ( had) a lousy doctor. When I had the accident last July she wouldn't listen to a word I sad. I finally got upset and told her I would just get a different doctor at a different clinic. That got her attention.
I am glad that you liked your doctor. It sure helps when they do their job well.

I trust most of my doctors to do their best, but I think my husband's primary care provider is only there to get paid. I don't really think he cares about giving quality care. I wish we could find someone else for him.

What happened to your skin? Do you have rushes? I had a bad experience once on doctors they didn't detect my appendicitis instead they diagnosed it as an ulcer.

I trust all of the doctors I attend. It was hard to find them, but they are very good at their job.
