Hi friends, Hope you all are doing great...! It's been quite long since I have been active in mylot.Today I just could not stop myself from sharing my feelings. Today I met with one of my very old friend. She has been married for more than five years but could not conceive. They tried a lot but every time it's a misscarrage. Now I was so happy to see that she is pregnant and she was so happy. Seeing her the thing that striked in my mind is what is the biggest happiness in this world? Does the meaning of happiness changes with the age, time and priorities in life? What you think friend ? I would be waiting for your responses.

I think when you find true happiness it will never change. True happiness is a steady, constant state of mind and/or being. I believe we cannot find true happiness in anything outside of ourselves, yet that is where we tend to seek it for most of our lives. True happiness is found within the connection with our true selves and not from anything the physical world can offer.

Hello Deepa. I am happy for your friend. Congratulations. I think as we get older, our priorities and happiness change. For me, when I was younger, I really want to be "in" with my the crowd that I try to please them and material things make me happy. But now that I am older (and wiser perhaps), I just look for happiness in the simplest things and even in the most mundane.

I agree with you. I also feel that the factors of happiness change as per the time and situations. The things that might have made us happy when we r young might get change when we are not old . Thanks for sharing your thoughts :-)
