Will I have a Baby Face Forever??

Sometimes having a young looking face is fun because I can get away with certain things. But what about when I finally turn the age when I can go to a club or drink. Do you think they will actually believe that I am of that age? For those who have young looking faces as an adult, how do you deal with it?

Take it as long as you can, its a compliment. I went to visit my son at his work for the first time, the people working there thought I was a girlfriend. I told them "oh yuck, hes my son" lots of red faces in that building that day. He is in his 30's.

We can't look young forever that's for sure but taking good care of ourselves it might slow down being old physically.

I had a "baby face" for most of my life. How I dealt with it is just by communicating with people like an adult. For ex. This lady threatened to tell my mother I was smoking. She thought I was 15. Actually I was in my mid 20s and married with two children. I spoke to her like a mature adult and she realized her mistake and apologized.

This reminded me of a guy who used to live in our house. I was just 8 years old then and he was in college and he and his friends went to the cinema that shows a rated 18 movie. He had such a baby face looking so young and in fact he didn't shave at all coz he had no facial hair. When they went to buy tickets he was refused to enter the cinema coz he was looking so young and nobody believed he was over 18. He left his ID so he had no proof to show his real age.

Thank you so much. I used to think it was a curse. When I go to restaurants they offer me the kids menu.

I love it! The only thing that gives my age away is the grey in my hair. I was out with a friend yesterday and I was telling him about raising my daughter in the neighborhood where he grew up. He asked my daughters age and when I told him he says; "You have a 28 yr old daughter??!"

I was asked for an ID when I went to the casino. I was the only one that was asked. I was confused... do I look like a terrorist? Do I look like I am robbing them? ... it was a compliment, though... I was mistaken for a 17 year old. Hwhat?!!!
Now that I am 46 and if someone would say that I don't look like my age, it is flattering. I always say Thank You.
