Adult colouring books

One of the cartoons on my laptop screensaver says, "I have decided I no longer want to be an adult. If anyone needs me, I'll be in my blanket fort, colouring." It's actually not too far from the truth. A couple of years ago I bought an adult colouring book and a set of pencils. It was just a silly whim at the time, but I have found it really enjoyable and a great way to relax. Have you ever tried an adult colouring book? Did you enjoy it?

Someone came up with the idea a few years ago. Mostly they are designs, more complicated than those for kids.

I know many, many people really enjoy this but I can't imagine anything worse. I would find it such a waste of time. And I'd probably be stressing about going beyond the lines! It's lucky we're all different isn't it?

It would be a boring world if we were all the same, Judy.

I have two wonderful books that I use from time to time, great for relaxing when you can't sleep at night.
