Just Around Midnight

I am trying to get used to this time, the days are long and darkness does not come till after 7, so dinner is always late. Meaning now I have to stay up a long time so the food wont make me sick, ya know laying down and getting acid creeping up your throat. I worked hard today, I am exhausted so I will write about that tomorrow. So here I am just about midnight and mylotting. How was your day?

@andriaperry exactly. 8-9 is my bedtime unless we are out for trivia which doesn’t end until 10.

We always have dinner after 7 PM, this because in Switzerland people have dinner "early", in Italy, Spain and Greece they all have dinner after 8 PM. It's a matter of habit.

Mine is a matter of working, mostly away from home or outside.

I am having my online teaching now. It seems that I am going to have my late dinner. How's your ankle? I am not sure if I am asking it right.

I am still getting used to it to. Starting to cook before doing outside chores now when the last few months it was after doing the chores.

@andriaperry We usually try to eat around 5. I keep a few snacks on hand in case we get a little hungry later, but it is not a heavy full meal that way. We both seem to sleep better too than when we eat real late

Hope you get some good sleep. I went to sleep way too early and felt restless as a result.

My day was okay, been having a fair amount of pain in this darn ankle though. Rainy weather seems to trigger it.

@andriaperry I hope I'm able to walk on it in two weeks when this cast comes off. The doctor said I might need physical therapy.

@andriaperry - the long summer days of sun light can really throw you off.
