Don't let the "Likes" define you

Do you know someone who felt good about themselves when they receive "likes" on their social media account? A person like this share a lot of their pictures.
A certain amount of likes makes this person feel good but if they didn't then they would become depressed. It is clear that these days we let other people to define out value and control our emotional state.
Many of the people who liked our photos are complete strangers. These people who we never knew about help reinforce how we define our values.
Even if you meet all the people who like your photos there is a strong chance that you would'nt have a harmonious relationship and even start to hate most of these people. Then you will realize how crazy you are allowing these people to control you. You should stop posting pictures of yourself and allow people to approve how good you look. This kind of value will never work because we grow old and our looks change, people will look for new faces elsewhere if you can't show them more.
Better stick to your core values and feel good about yourself. Get rid of negative opinions, emotional pain, these layers of negativity can prevent you from realizing who you are.

Oh yeah I know lots of people like that. They get their self-esteem on those likes which in reality doesnt make them any better. Maybe they need too much attention.
