Can you tell what insect or pest is this?

I have been seeing this quite often on my home on the walls sometimes i can see it moving. Most of the time it's not moving at all. It's like there's a small worn inside it like inside a cocoon. I'm not sure what they actually do if they do some harm to the house or wood. So i hope somebody can tell what they are and what they do. If i should do something about it.

@hotsummer It looks like the larva of a moth. There are a lot of moths, I do not know exactly the species of this one, but their presence is never good for clothes and carpets. I would get rid of these pests.

I agree with @AKRao24, the picture is not sharp enough to see what those little insect are. I am looking at the other picture you posted. I agree with topffer and JJ, they look like larvae of a moth.
