When you meet your enemy along the way

We are taught to forgive and love our enemies, and even if we manage to do that, it doesn't take overnight to succeed or accomplish it.
So what will be your reaction if you meet someone you think is your enemy, maybe your worst enemy, unexpectedly along the way?
1. Ignore him/her
2. Greet him/her
3. Lash out at him/her by hurtful words
4. Turn back and wait for him/her to pass by
5. Invite him/her for a snack or meal
6. Any other thing you would do?

I don't have enemies, but rivals. I believe in rivalry, but a respectful one.
I would greet and have a drink with my opponents, unless I'm furious because I lost a battle against them, then it'd be #4, + the most evil stare you can imagine.

That's great. I would, too, if what caused it is just simple misunderstanding. As you said, it depends on the situation.

I would just nod and smile at him/her. I don't care for conflict.
