I know, it is not allowed to post milestones and the like, but i have to inform those who followed my post that my father died this late afternoon.
I thought he was still napping when I went back to their room.
But I noticed he is of same position when he began napping.
He died in his sleep and he has a smile on his face.
We were.resigned to the idea that he will leave s soon, but still we all cried seeing him dead.
But we are happy he will now be not feeling any pain anymore.

@changjiangzhibin89 It has been his wish already as he would tell me that he die already. He said he has lived long enough at 85, being a diabetic. He said he was tired already of feeling the pain relative to his fracture and cancer. He endured it for 2 months since the discovery of his liver cancer.

@SIMPLYD He was fortunate enough to die in his sleep. He would have felt sad if his mind had been clear and had known he might take leave of you all .

@cherigucchi Oh, that is a sacrifice for him. Good thing, my father only stayed bedridden for 2 months. I really prayed for God to just get him already because there is nothing we can do to ease his pain because he doesn't and cannot take at his age an operation.

@sunrisefan I keep remembering that she was the one Filipina here who went to the US to work. Or maybe I was mistaken. Senior moment, as they say?

My prayers and condolences, Miss D. I know how it is to lose a father. Mine suffered for years before he passed on. And even though I felt very sad to see him go, I also felt relief for him because I know he will no longer feel physical pain.

@SIMPLYD My papa suffered for almost a year, in and out of the hospital. We knew he was ready to go. I just wish he didn't have to suffer that long.

Thought I always checked all your posts. Realized my mistake when I read about your father's passing away sometimes in April. Hence my rush to go re-checking the posts. How did your mother cope with the news. They were so close to each other weren't they? (I was busy running working far from home during this period, so I didn't often come here back then.)

Actually, my mother had a stroke last Dec. 7. She was bedridden and had to change her bed into a hospital bed.
Then, my father, suddenly was discovered that he has liver cancer March, when he was sent to a hospital for a very painful stomachache. He cannot be operated because he is old already and can'[t take it. He is in pain. By April 28, he peacefully left us. At least, he will not experience pain anymore.
