i wished that this moment could never end

The 2 weeeks, 2 days that my supervisor at work was on vacation.

When my friend got a job abroad, I had to bid farewell at airport. He had to go and I wanted to talk to him more. I did not want this moment to end immediately. But it was inevitable. Similarly when someone helps you with his extraordinary kindness and magnanimity, you would like to thank him from the bottom of your heart and praise good things. But by the time you say thanks, he is not there to listen to you, because he is busy.

YES! In the delivery room when I held my son in my arms for the first time. I knew even then that the moment wasn't going to last, and that later in my life I would long to re-visit that moment. And so there was already some sadness mixed in.
