Clear Pants

Fashion that I don't understand : clear pants edition. I have no idea why someone would want to wear this. You need to wear something with decent coverage under them, and they don't breathe and I doubt that they move well at all. Could you imagine what happens if you should start sweating? That said you'd do alright in a rainstorm. lol.
Clear plastic jeans and Nordstrom mud jeans may bring about a welcome end to the tyranny of pants.

These are stupid as are the jeans they just came out with where they cut all the material out and just left the seams. Have you seen those ugly things yet?

@artemis432 Right!! You look at what there was in the past as to whats coming out now and the old stuff doesn't seem quite so bad.

Basically, plastic macs for your legs. $100??? You could buy about 25 rolls of clingfilm (saran wrap) for that, couldn't you and that should set you up for life!

@Marty1 I have often wondered about knitting or crocheting with it. I can actually be quite strong when it's twisted

@Marty1 Yes, I've seen videos on using plastic bags. Mostly, they're about making new shopping bags out of old ones (larger and stronger, of course) but one was about an artist who crochets huge wall hanging portraits of famous people using different colours. I don't know how things are in the States but here they charge 5p for each bag now and those rather flimsy ones which can be cut up and made into yarn don't seem to be made any more. It's a good thing, really, of course because the less plastic that gets thrown out the better.

Obviously, the person who invented these pants has never spent a summer in Florida!

Or Texas. We use the AC to hear just about all year. And winter is the best summer. I could never imagine wearing these pants here. Of course I wouldn't wear them even if I lived in Alaska or the Antarctic.

Maybe they are flood pants. The fashion world is weird lately. Expensive jeans with plastic knees, jeans that are only the seams and waistband, zig-zag eyebrows, nostril hairs, I just don't understand it. Why???

@FayeHazel Now why do you have to go there? lol. I mean...women are MUCH more attractive in any capacity than men, and even women would have to agree that when men try to look sexy they mostly look silly.

I suppose someone will wear them and I won´t be one of them as you do need something decent underneath and apart from that the only thing is to keep you dry on a rainy day.

@FayeHazel This kind of fashion is sort of like from the 60´s when there were transparent rainmacs and other kind of dresses but with flower motiffs all over them. I did not care much for them as I love clothes with rich material always but its fun to see even so. Probably she will wear that kind of thing but it would not make me go out and want to buy it. I hope she is much better from whatever it is she had too.
