Well i am sure its not a pleasant experience by any means and is a very painful one and it feels bad actually when we are bitten by A Honey which a bee actually lol and can cause severe pain and try avoid doing anything silly which can make it bit you, like in towns, most like to hit stones on there web and then flying bees can bit anyone in anger LOL.
I was bitten in my childhood and that's why i try to be careful now.

@thesupersingh I fear more the wasps, they can sting more than once. The bees die after they sting.

Yes when wild in Missouri when walked barefoot because you could and people were proud to see youngsters so ruthless. Would step on them like nothing and they stung the crap out of me. Thought was so cool, like some initiation. Little did I know we were really killing them off. Each sting left a mark of a conscience. My friends are being killed.

@JolietJake Indeed, was so pretty the spacious land between houses and people let me be me. At the expense of bees and some even invited me over. it was a time like no other. Still looking for that was neat to experience and at lease I did. sorry kids. The bees made you feel part of the whole picture. nOt sure how to explain it other than go to JJ's house.

@JolietJake Yeah, I actually loved being stung. Telling you step dad was a bad man and being a kid looking for approval anywhere. It really did feel good after a while in a sick and twisted way. Like wake up, was really weird. Many can have heart attacks and stuff so maybe it was more that.

I don't know if it was a honey bee that came into the open window of our bathroom while I was taking a bath. I suddenly just felt a sharp pain in my arm. I realized I got stung by a bee.
And yes it was painful. The small black thing was in my arm and it was swollen for more than 2 days.

Yes, it happened ca. 5 years ago. The bitten place started to grow and it was as big as an apple. It took a long time to heal.

Bee venom seems to prevent arthritis through hormones called glucocorticoids. These hormones help regulate inflammation and may even slow the progression of inflammatory arthritis.

I was stung by a bee when I was a kid. I remember my mother trying to squeeze the place where it was bitten. Then wash the place with soap. It was a very painful experience.

@thesupersingh I was having my hand upon the refrigerator, once I kept my finger I felt painful, first,I thought it's a shock, but then only the stupid bee came out

Not that I recall. We have carpenter bees which can be confused with honey bees. Only the female can sting, but rarely does so.

I have been stung by a wasp but not a bee. Bees don't usually attack unless you try to hurt them whereas wasps are spiteful little critters and love to sting people for the smallest reason.

No I haven't been bitten or stung by a bee and I hope I never get stung or bitten by them. I am afraid of stinging insects. I like ladybugs. When I was young they were plentiful... always so pretty & friendly landing on my hands. Not so much now days do I even see lovely ladybugs.
