Fathers day does get some attention in the UK but not as much as mother's day

I ask myself this same question, but someone told me that mother's day is more commercial and popular, because it is the women that carries the child for nine months, the women go through all different kinds of things while carrying the child and then the women brings the child into the world, sometimes even having to raise this child all by herself while the man goes out there just knocking up every woman that he sleeps with. Yes, it is some good father's out there but how many?
