Jersey stitch log cabin pattern crochet challenge

Self striping yarn shows this pattern off well. The jersey stitch is done by crocheting into the middle of single crochet stitches instead of the top loop. The log cabin pattern is a technique of making a block then crocheting sections around that center block.

Haven't heard of the jersey stitch. I'll have to try it. Looks very nice.
