I Guess Umbrella is most necessary during sunny days while it's sunny as most of the times the sun rays are so sharp and can affect our skin as well and also it will make us sweat a lot as well which is never good and can cause dehydration which can cause several other issues.
I see ladies always have umbrella with them when they pass through street when it's hot.
What About you? Do You Think Umbrellas Are Mandatory While Stepping Out In Sun? Please share.

There's no umbrella law here and seeing somebody with one is like spotting a unicorn. Instead we have sunscreens with every kind of spf known to man.

@cupkitties true that people think they are immune. I found out in school that it is one of the most widespread and deadly of cancers. Both sunburn and tanning is damage to skin. Any increase in melanin is damage. Most think it doesn't matter in twenties or thirties but at my age....48 I am very glad I've always been overcautious about the sun as well as choice of foods and no drinking or smoking. The sun causes up to 0 percent of aging some think. And cloudy days won't save you. There is something called the cloud effect or something

@thesupersingh Oh Well I think they should. sunscreens are often ineffective, but over here we're tanning culture and everyone thinks they are immune to skin cancer.

Yes some have a lot to say. Like when I first joined I posted a lot but I need a new computer. Hard on just my phone or tablets. I can't even cash in my paypal. My income deposited on two cards no bank account right now. Thinking of the online ones like Chime. Automatic savings and investing with change...they round ip and deposit in saving or investments. But since have brighter can no longer receive paypal with new rule there

It actually depends. But if it is too hot, I need to use an umbrella to shield myself from the heat.

I have a sunbrella that is windproof(windy here!) as I live in south Texas and we have hot humid days. I protect my skin from burning and more freckles and my eyes from migraines

It would be useful to always bring an umbrella but I'm a stubborn fellow so I'm good with just walking and fighting under the shade.

@Jessabuma yes, we have some states like that or cities, like Seattle WA known for always raining. We have a season for rain and even possible bad weather like hurricanes

Not necessarily mandatory. Its a personal choice, some would prefer to use sunscreens for protection than carry an umbrella. Personally, I never leave the house without an umbrella and when its sunny outside I always use mine.
