Ever sacrificed your sleep for someone?

Sleep is one of the things we don't joke with especially after a stressful and hectic day but there are some of us whose day is yet to be completed without chatting with that special person, they try to fight sleep just to stay awake, waiting for that him/her to come online because chatting with them makes their day fulfilled. Now have you ever sacrificed your precious sleep for someone special to come online?

I have never sacrificed it for my work. But have done it when my daughters were babies. But then I compensated it by napping with them in day. This February my father in law was very sick and hospitalized for more than a month before he passed away. Me and my husband took turn to stay as an attendant at hospital in the night. I used to be awake and alert for every groan.

Such actions unless there are confirmation that he or she like you, it will never bore fruits.

Yes many times I have stayed up to help friends who were sad or needed help. And they have also been there for me when I needed

I seldom go to bed late. If I have a special emergency, I will call and will not wait on the Internet.

Sometimes you might be so tired that even when you try to stay awake to hear that special someone you still find yourself falling asleep.

Everytime cause since i'm yet not working i live with my mother and she coes back late from work. I'm the one in charge of cooking, cleaning and such. When she wakes up, i have to as well because she has to dress and i have to help because as she says 'when you'll be out of my house i won't call and ask you to come and do it. But you are still here and its your duty... In clear i'm the 21rst century slave. I wouldn't consider it a sacrifice if i receive thanks from time to time or if there wasn't a pick at my self confidence

Yes, I used to but never again. You can't always trust the person on the other end and when there are so many hours difference between countries, then you find out you weren't the only one giving up your sleep for them. Won't ever fall into that trap again

I have sacrificed sleep many years ago waiting for someone to come on line. I am not associated with that person anymore and never again will I sacrifice any part of myself that doesn't value me or themselves.
