My mother's garden

There's something about my mom's home that makes me feel peaceful, like any challenge I face is surmountable. It's always been that way with my mom. She's been my chief supporter all my life. Yesterday, I visited my mom's home and she was in the garden tending to her plants and I looked at them and they were fresh and green and beautiful and I thought, this is it! This is my mom's talent, to help people and things to thrive and grow. My mom has a green thumb that way... and as old as I am today, a parent myself, I am still happy to be a plant in her garden under her instruction and care. My lessons with her aren't over as yet.
