If you are a fan of conspiracy theories, then you are sure to know about the conspiracy theory behind chem trails and how they might be affecting us on a daily basis.
Looking up at the sky, you might notice those little trails that come out of airplanes. The conspiracy theory is that those trails are actually there because the government is using some sort of chemical that is unknown to us for unknown reasons.
The theories spread through a wide range of thoughts, such as population control, mind control, experiments and so on. It is also believed that these chemicals are making us sick and are causing several different illnesses such as the famous bird and swine flu.
Personally, I don't subscribe to this theory, but several people do. The more you hear and listen to those theories, the more you wonder how possible this stuff is.
What do you think about this theory?

When you hear things over and over and over again, even lies start to sound like truth. It's possible that this could be what's going on with the chem trails. It's a conspiracy theory that just won't die!
I read an article a while back from a commercial airline pilot that was talking about how this conspiracy theory just isn't true. He made a great point when he said that in order for the chem trail theory to be true, it would require everyone involved to keep a deep dark secret. There are thousands of pilots, and thousands of airline mechanics, and thousands of airplane refuelers out there. It would be impossible for every one of those thousands of people to keep this thing secret if it was true.

the trails are just water vapour from the wings - utterly harmless

I believe it. What else could it be? What is the purpose of flying smaller than a seaplane jets so high in the air, with a stream of smog trails behind them, sometimes five or six of them in the sky at the same time, criss crossing each other? Commercial airlines which are phenomenally bigger, fly closer to the earth and leave no trail, at least not the ones I've seen.
Sometimes I see broken trails in the sky. I have watched jets flying and the pilot turning the trails off and on as if warning those on the ground of what is really going on. If the plane naturally emitted the 'smoke' as an exhaust, then it would be a steady, straight, unbroken stream across the sky, but these pilots can turn them off and on. What would be the purpose of a pilot putting his life in danger by turning off the planes engine in mid flight?
Another question; Who owns these jets and why are there so many in the sky all over the world? It's not like they are private jets. Even those are visible from the ground, but you gotta strain your eyes to see these trail jets. It is definitely not skywriting they are performing.
Up until now no one has questioned it, but now many people are and I think they are on the right path.
