Was it traditional white and church, registry office, held in a garden with a celebrant, or did you elope?

My first was a white wedding in a church, my second at the reception place by a celebrant in Ivory. My daughter is getting married on the beach next year!

Ok, I can't answer this one because I am not married, so think of more topics please.lol. But I can tell you what I would like. I think a beach wedding would be wonderful. I'm not a dress kind of girl so a gown is something I would avoid. Oh and I'd have to have one big chocolate wedding cake.lol

Whoops! I didn't see this forum before I started my thread! I'm sorry! :( My wedding was huge, beautiful and impersonal. I didn't feel like it was my day. I felt like I was in a play and playing the role of the bride. I was MEETING PEOPLE during our reception. It just got out of control. I'd do it over again in a second if I could. I still can't think about that day without getting mad at myself for letting it get so huge (I originally wanted a very very small wedding, but my husband's family know so many people and that's what happened). The only thing that makes me feel better after I fume for a while is that we got every single thing we registered for. But I'd trade it all to get that day back. There's always the renewing of our vows one day..... And I'm not inviting ANYONE!! LOL;)

Yes it was, on the 4th of July weekend, 104 outside and packed church, with no air conditioning, and my sister in law that was a bridesmaid fainted at the alter from the heat. A wedding to remember!!!!!!!!!

I had my traditional fairy tail wedding. I had a long train and a beautiful church with calla lilies. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

my wedding was lovely, very simple but just the way we wanted. my brother married us (he;'s a minister) and we had the reception at my ex-hubbys grandparents huge country house outside. no wedding party, just us. hired a jukebox, had it catered and everyone had a wonderful fun time. don't know if i'd marry again but if i did would stick to a simple fun celebration

Wedding Carriage - us in our carriage after we were married
Our wedding was held at Mont Lamm Belgians...we had Beligan horses with a white carriage. It was very nice. We got married outside in front of a gazebo.

Weddings - You may kiss the bride!
My wedding was held at a VFW Post. We were going to get married in a church, but then found out we were pregnant, so we had a nice cermony and a blast, wouldn't have had it any other way!
