My thirst will be nourishes once again.
Feeling of gray time reflects backward, rainbow emit.
Being away for almost a week to love ones is like a chain,
Wired to the very core of someone spirit.
But knowing, this sacrifice will build our home a house.
Though being away tastes like salt,
I am shrinking this giant yearning into a mouse.
Knowing feeding not our kittens is my own fault.
Thank goodness it’s really Saturday
Till I’ve got some message in front of our door
“Honey, we’ve visited grandma and be back Monday”
I’ve dropped her letter, together with my tears on the floor…

Working away from home is really a total sacrifice. We may call them or chatted them but being with them still a big difference. This is my story, away from home from Monday to Friday.
How about you? What are your sacrifices for the sake of your family?

Many people go to work far from home in order to earn a living. This is really a very difficult thing. But can't you bring your family to the place where you work?

Good morning, Frederick. I do not have any as I am always with my parents and I do not need to be far away from them. But I look up to you for all your sacrifices. Where do you work?

Good morning Louise... Good for you... Well, I've worked and lived in the same province though still, my workplace is quite far from home. So, staying at my workplace during workdays is the only choice I have because transportation will eat all my salary if I don't...

@simplfred Thank you, Frederick. Yes, usually it is the transportation fare that eats up most of our salaries. I think it is a wise move for you and consider practicality. And when you go home, your kids are excited to see you.

It is a sacrifice to work away from your loved ones but a sacrifice that everyone is all too willing to take.

@simplfred we were not born to work and then just die.
There is a life that we have to live.
