The first book I read this year was "100 Tula Para kay Estella" which translates to "100 Poems for Stella". It was about a student with a speech defect who fell in love with Stella, a schoolmate who accepted him despite his flaws. It was a roller coaster ride and I like its unconventional ending. As of the moment, I am reading "A Song of Ice and Fire" which is the first book in The Game of Thrones Series.
How about you? What was the first book you read this year and what book are you reading now?

Hi @id_peace ! That sounds interesting. It makes me think of my favorite pair - Harley Quinn and Joker.

I just revisited some already read books to get some comfort. I was just busy with newspapers and magazines till April. Now from May I have picked up"Krishna Key". That's a big fat book and looking at the time on my hand, I can only finish this by end of year. That too I hope to do so!!

Hi @arunima25 ! That sounds quite challenging. I am reading a rather big fat book myself. I'm currently reading "It" by Stephen King.

@nanayangel Yes. Krishna key is not a light read. Takes some time to digest.

Been doing a book challenge this year as well. Not sure how many books I have read so far but I'm guessing more than ten already.

Are you doing the Amazon Good Reads Challenge? Currently I have read five books this year, and am currently reading a textbook, "Abnormal Psychology". I may switch from it to another fiction book--so far I haven't gotten too bored.

Thanks @FayeHazel ! Is that about a vampire? The book I read was actually made into a movie. I haven't watched it yet, though.

I have been borrowing and glancing through many cartoon guide books lately. I am hoping to become a cartoonist by just looking at them .
