"I have a weakness for a good buy. How about YOU?"

I am not that frugal person. But I am more on the practical side. I go shopping online for the scheme of buy 1 take 1. It wasn't grandeur purchasing the items. I considered the practicality usage of it. Besides, I waste money over nothing. It is so absurd to put them into place for being useless. Recently, I bought a power bank for my mobile phone. I gave the other one to my younger brother. For me, the money was not wasted. "What's your opinion about it?" "Do you think twice or more before buying something online or offline?" I turned to be a frugal person recently, of course due to my financial struggles. I buy very necessary things alone these days. If I have enough money then also I don't waste unnecessary.

@Sreekala I must admit that I had experienced such situation and no one tried to help. It was a big lesson and I don't want to experience it again.

During my younger years, I am quite impulsive in buying things. As the years go by, I changed to a new leaf and better to save money than feel sorry in the long run.

If there is something I need I buy, but I do not buy only because I see a good deal.

I agree. When I was in university, I buy even if I don't need them. As the years go and have work, I had changed my way of buying things.

@LadyDuck I agree. Some people are so impulsive to buy things just because they are on sale. I have some friends like this.

I know the feeling and I catch myself to hesitate before buying. I have to stick to my budget at all times, even though it's a good price, I hesitate make a quick budget check before I'd buy.

Sometimes I do think twice about buying things online the same as I think twice about buying offline. I went into two shops this afternoon and not one had anything that I wanted so I politely left but a bit sad as it had taken me ages to find the two places.

I am sorry to hear that. Sometimes it is so tiring to go from one shop to another. For me, I also do the same thing. I need to compare an item with these shops before purchasing it.

There was a time when I couldn't control what I bought on the Internet, and many things were useless. Now I think I'm still in control, and I won't buy anything I don't need.

oh yeah, especially online because it can't be replaced or returned, even if it says it is okay to return, I mean the cost of shipment is to be considered. but what you did is okay... if you buy a promotion of take another 1, then it is okay. it did not go to a waste as you gave it to your brother.

There are some instances that it is not convenient to return the goods. This considered the disadvantage of buying online. For some reasons, we need to check a couple of times before buying them.

It depends what I'm buying. I buy all my swimsuits online, also my vitamin supplements. I get cashback from another program for buying online, so it's always beneficial.

I do think it would a good advantage of having cashback in buying online. It can also a good way of buying particular items online. Moreover, it cannot be denied that it is really convenient to buy online in terms of delivering in our residence and no need to travel from one shop to another in town.

I mostly buy when there is cash-back available on items (most shopping sites/apps are providing this) and the item is useful. I have done a lot of shopping online in last couple of weeks for my wife, myself and my friends and relatives at my workplace I am due in next couple of weeks.

I love a good bargain too. If it's something I really want, I don't hesitate to get it. When I buy books, it's usually something I will read or re-read and I think self improvement is a great investment. I buy the majority of my clothes from thrift stores, although if something really catches my eye at the store, I might think to myself "I'll get that the next time I come in." lol, the next time it is gone. I'm usually pretty frugal. I seem to spend a lot in gas, but I am grateful to have a reliable car. I am frugal when I need to be, but I get enjoyment out of life as well.

I personally think that being frugal is fine. As long as we live modestly and enjoys our life. At present, I am living a simple lifestyle. In addition, I can be extravagant in buying something if there are some special occasions. It didn't always happen in my life though.
