Things You Look In A Person Before Accepting His/her friend?

I Guess we all like to make friends and be friends with others and its the best thing for me, actually, I love to make friends and love to expand my friendship to different parts of the World from Nigeria To Australia, From Canada To Kenya, From Sri Lanka To South Africa and From China To Philippines.
It makes me feel excited and I don't have any measures to accept any friend and it's just natural for me.
What About You? Are there Any Things You Look In A Person Before Accepting His/her friend? Please Share.

I look for a person that is honest and does not play games with me and does not be nice to my face and then talk about me behind my back. Someone that will have my back and stand by me.

First of all, I am after the attitude. I do not like people who pretend about about most of their life. I am actually not choosy but I want real friends and not fake ones. I have no time for user-friendly people.

For me, what I look at specifically in a person before I accept/ add him/her as a friend are common friends. Because chances are, if we have common friends, then we may have common interest, or might even actually met each other in person. For people outside of my country, I try to see their interest first through what they post in their profile and what are the things that they have or is currently interacting with.
